ANTIQUE PENCIL NECKLACES

Tiny silver and gold antique slide pencils are a favorite Karen Lindner Designs element.  We fondly refer to them as "magic wands".  Signature KLD necklaces featuring these pieces make perfect gifts to loved ones and to ourselves - symbolizing the writing, creating, designing and planning we all do, and celebrating the new chapters we all write in our lives. 

Historically, these were worn on a chatelaine or chain, and used in every day life.  Intricate details differ on each piece such as the gemstone and colored glass capstones on their ornate tops (that originally would twist off to reveal a hollow compartment where lead was stored).
