Congratulations on selecting a piece of history for yourself or a loved one!
You have chosen to add a historic element to your life, and we want you to be the best possible new steward of this responsibility! Here are some tips for caring for and storing the items you chose :
- first and foremost - wear often and with great love!
- always keep your treasures in a clean, dry location when not wearing
- whenever possible, hang necklaces when not wearing
- try to avoid sleeping in your pieces
- store away from contact with with other jewelry items whenever possible to prevent tarnish transfer or general tangling
- never let your piece come in direct contact with chemicals such as lotions, perfumes or other personal care items until they have completely dried on skin
- gently clean and polish with a soft polishing cloth whenever possible and avoid liquid or paste polishes, and have professionally cleaned if cloth is not working to your satisfaction
- always handle with care; they have lived a long life, but may still have the tendency to become fragile or not open, turn etc, as they used to
