This is a stunning and weighty 19th century ornate gold (tests above 12k) diary/chatelaine pencil with an intricately engraved stem, lovely pale pink-orange capstone (cap does not twist off), and a functioning slide mechanism that allows the pencil tip (not currently loaded with lead) to retract as wanted.
