This lovely Art Nouveau 18k gold-filled medallion depicts St Cecelia, Patron Saint of music and the blind. She appears in profile, hair flowing, holding a lyre. The reverse has flowers, instruments, and an open book. It was made by Oria in the early 1900s, in a very high-end process that created the best gold filled jewelry with a soft, glowing finish. It was once a stickpin, but is now converted to a delicate little 5/8” pendant.
